Job Description
NIGHT SHIFT
7pm-7am your schedule would be the following: Week 1:Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 7p-7a Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 7pm-7am (Then it repeats. Week 3 is the same as week 1 and week 4 is the same as week 2).
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medication Technician to join our healthcare team. As a Medication Technician, you will be responsible for administering medications to patients and ensuring their overall well-being. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals residing in an assisted living facility.Duties:
- Administer medications to patients according to prescribed dosages and schedules
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or side effects from medications
- Document medication administration accurately in medical records and maintain confidentiality
- Assist with other healthcare tasks as needed, such as taking vital signs or assisting with medical procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and communicate any changes in patient condition or medication needs
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures
- maintain a clean environment
- bathe and assist residents with daily care
Requirements:
- cmt licenses up to date
- cpr and first aid (we can assist you with getting certified)
- Experience working with individuals in an assisted living facility.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow medication administration protocols
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and basic medical terminology is beneficial Please note that this position requires weekends and evening shifts.
