Lead Medication Aide, Health & Wellness Director/Associate Health and Wellness Director, Administrator Shift Options 7:00 AM•3:00 PM 7:00 AM•7:00 PM Position Summary We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and organized Medication Technicians to join our Resident Care Services team. The Medication Technician is responsible for coordinating resident medication administration, maintaining accurate documentation, communicating with healthcare providers and families, and supporting quality resident care in accordance with state regulations and community policies. This role works closely with caregivers, nurses, providers, pharmacies, and leadership to ensure residents receive safe and timely medication administration while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life. Essential Responsibilities Administer and document medications according to physician orders and state regulations Ensure all medication documentation is current and accurate in the E-MAR system Maintain and organize resident charts, physician orders, incident reports, and required licensing documentation Monitor medication inventory and coordinate medication reorders and deliveries with pharmacies Communicate resident condition changes to leadership and healthcare providers Report falls, injuries, behavioral changes, and medication concerns appropriately Monitor psychotropic medication usage and documentation Maintain security and accountability of medication room access and keys Assist with scheduling and coordinating medical appointments Read and communicate shift-to-shift resident updates Mentor and assist new Medication Aides as needed Provide compassionate resident care and support daily routines Qualifications Previous Medication Aide/Med Tech experience preferred Experience working in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work independently Compassionate and resident-focused attitude Benefits Competitive pay Flexible scheduling Supportive team environment Opportunities for growth and advancement Paid training and continuing education opportunities Apply Today If you are passionate about caring for seniors and making a difference in residents' lives every day, we would love to hear from you.
