Job Description

Hiring for ALL shifts!! Days 7am-3pm, Afternoons 3pm-11pm, and Midnights 11pm-7am. No experience necessary, we will train you.
Qualifications:
Able to read, write and speak English. Physically able to perform all job requirements. Effective written and oral communication skills. Possess a sincere desire to serve the ill and fragile elderly and show initiative and judgement in recognizing symptoms and reactions and reporting them in a timely manner. Ability to encourage and motivate residents to participate in recreational, occupational, physical therapy and activities of daily living. Knowledge of procedures and techniques involving the administration of simple treatments and providing related bedside resident care service. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, residents and residents' families. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of resident care. Ability to conduct oneself with tact and courtesy.

General Job Duties:
Report on duty at your scheduled time for report and rounds Follow service plans in providing services to residents. Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rate as directed. Assist in the development and updating of each resident's service plan. Monitor the health, safety, and well-being of the residents. Document information pertaining to changes in the resident's functional status, personal needs, appointments via communication book, and care alerts. Assist in keeping the environment safe for the residents. Report concerns about residents to nurse and or shift supervisor. Respond to resident call lights in a timely manner. Assist residents in activities of daily living; including bathing, dressing, toileting, hygiene and mobility. Medication administration Promote independence with residents, offering choices and fostering self-help skills.
