Our CMTs provide patient care, medication administration, and medication system maintenance as directed by the Charge Nurse, and in accordance with the standards, policies, and practices of the department. Applicants must have an active status on Missouri State Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Registry and Missouri CNA registry and have an up to date and active insulin certification. They should understand ethical and legal responsibilities in administering medications. Responsibilities•What you'll do What you'll do: Responsible for administering prescribed medications to patients and maintains related medical records under the supervision of a licensed nurse Responsible for maintaining medication rooms with adequate supplies and medications Provide direct care, treatment, and/or security of forensic psychiatric and/or sex offender patients in minimum, intermediate, and high security areas Accountable for assisting patients with activities of daily living such as feeding, bathing, bed making, shaving, dressing, and other related tasks Assist in checking vital signs, height, and weight as assigned Collect and maintain records of fluid intake and output Report on the condition of patients Perform internal environment of care checks or perform some security-related functions in a mental health care setting Qualifications•All you need for success All you will need for success: Required qualifications: Proof of active and up to date Certified Medication Technician status, in good standing with the State of Missouri Proof of active and up to date insulin certification, in good standing with the
