Overview We are seeking a dedicated Residential Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our team and deliver exceptional care in an in-patient setting. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference by supporting residents' health, safety, and well-being through compassionate, trauma-informed caregiving and medical assistance. Responsibilities Administer/observe/document administration of medication in accordance with prescriber directions and agency procedure. Complete medication inventories, including at admission or residential exit. Complete controlled medication counts with a second staff member at the end of each shift. Document medication refusals, discrepancies, side effects, adverse reactions, notifying the Nurse, on-call professionals, treatment team, poison control, emergency medical services, or other designated personnel according to the urgency of the situation and agency procedure. Monitor and document client physical status as assigned, including vital signs and identified medical concerns. Respond to medical emergencies. Maintain accurate clinical documentation. Ensure client safety and confidentiality. Perform crisis intervention utilizing de-escalation techniques and trauma-informed care. Answer after hours crisis hotline. Facilitate assigned group activities. Support client integration into community-living. Required Qualifications At least 21 years of age. High school diploma or GED. Successful completion of Missouri-approved nurse assistant training program or other pathway accepted by the applicable Missouri credentialing authority. Current Missouri Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing. Current Missouri Certified Medication Technician(CMT) certification in good standing. Current CPR/First Aid certification, or completion within the timeframe established by agency policy. Strong computer literacy and documentation skills. $16.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
