Job Description
Ashton Health and Rehabilitation is currently seeking a Medication Aide/CNA to join our team of dedicated health care professionals. Applicant must be certified as a Medication Aide / CNA (Please note that Med Aide certification is different than that of a Med Tech) Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing and the Registered Nurse (RN) and/or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), the Medication Aide will record vital signs,administer medication, and complete treatments as prescribed by the health care provider and observe/report responses in accordance with state and federal guidelines. A qualified applicant will also provide daily nursing care to residents as directed by their personal care plan. These positions require patience, compassion, and a desire to care for the residents in a gentle and empathetic manner.
