Medication Technician (Assisted Living)

Job Summary:
We're seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medication Technician to join our Assisted Living community in Roxboro, NC. As a Medication Technician, you will be responsible for administering medications and treatments as prescribed by our healthcare team, and ensuring the overall well-being and health of our residents. Responsibilities:
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by our healthcare team Monitor and record residents' vital signs and medical conditions Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and healthcare team members Collaborate with our healthcare team to develop and implement care plans Maintain accurate and complete records of medications and treatments Participate in in-service training and educational programs to stay current with industry developments and best practices
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; certification or training in Medication Administration is preferred Previous experience in a healthcare or assisted living setting is desirable Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills
