Position:
Pharmacy Tech/Medication Specialist Salary:
$55,000 annually
Location:
East Patchogue, NY, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Overview Join a mission driven team supporting adults living with mental health needs in a residential setting. We are seeking compassionate and dependable individuals to provide medication support, rehabilitative services, wellness education, and daily living assistance while helping residents build independence and maintain stability. Responsibilities Supervise medication administration and complete medication counts in accordance with agency procedures, including controlled substance counts and reporting discrepancies as required Provide wellness self management education to help residents build independence in medication management and daily wellness routines Provide direct care and rehabilitative support services to residents in areas including daily living skills, wellness, and community functioning Monitor the residence and support day to day house operations including meal preparation, recreational activities, chores, safety checks, and resident engagement Assist residents with maintaining safe, clean, and organized living spaces Observe resident well being and provide support, intervention, and follow up as appropriate Complete required documentation related to resident progress, services provided, medication support, and daily activities in accordance with agency standards Attend supervision, staff meetings, and required trainings Qualifications Associate degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, Rehabilitation, Counseling, or a related field required 2 years of Experience in medication support within mental health, residential services, rehabilitation, or a related human services setting required Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
Pay:
$55,000.00 per year
