Certified Medication Aide NEW OWNERSHIP and NEWLY Remodeled Facility As a Certified Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by ensuring they receive the appropriate medication and care they need. Your compassionate approach and attention to detail will make a significant difference in the lives of those you serve. You will collaborate closely with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and hospice environments. What you'll do Administer medications to residents according to prescribed schedules and protocols Monitor and document vital signs, medication effects, and any changes in residents' conditions Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and mobility support Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans for residents Provide support and companionship to residents with developmental disabilities, dementia, or Alzheimer's disease Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to infection control policies Basic qualifications Certification as a Medication Aide or equivalent training Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology Experience in patient care within assisted living, nursing home, or hospital settings Preferred qualifications Background in caregiving for seniors or individuals with disabilities Why you'll love it here We are dedicated to fostering an environment where our employees can thrive both personally and professionally.
