As a CMA, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by administering medications and providing assistance with daily living activities. About the
Role:
As a Certified Medication Aide, you will be responsible for: Administering medications to residents in accordance with their treatment plans Providing assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Monitoring residents' vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff Maintaining accurate records of medication administration and resident activities Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
Responsibilities:
Medication Administration:
Accurately administer medications to residents in accordance with their treatment plans and facility policies. Assistance with
Daily Living Activities:
Provide assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other daily living activities to ensure residents' independence and dignity.
Vital Sign Monitoring:
Monitor residents' vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, and report any changes to the nursing staff.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of medication administration, vital signs, and resident activities.
Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and achieve facility goals.
Requirements:
Certification:
Current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
Prior experience as a Certified Medication Aide or in a related healthcare field preferred
