Duties Safely administer prescribed medications to residents following all state healthcare regulations and facility policies Monitor residents' vital signs, health status, and response to medications, documenting findings meticulously in electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner Assist with resident personal care needs, including hygiene, mobility, and daily activities, ensuring dignity and comfort at all times Maintain accurate medical documentation and medication records in compliance with HIPAA and other confidentiality standards Support residents with specialized care requirements such as Alzheimer's, dementia, memory care, hospice, or tube feeding needs Collaborate effectively with nursing staff, caregivers, and family members to ensure comprehensive resident care Adhere to manual handling procedures for heavy lifting and resident transfers to ensure safety for both residents and staff Experience Prior assisted living or senior care experience is highly preferred; experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in nursing homes is advantageous Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and the specifics of geriatric patient care is essential.
