In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing quality care to residents in assisted living and acute care settings. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with medication administration and ensure the well-being of patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care and a strong understanding of the unique needs of individuals with disabilities and dementia. Schedule We are currently seeking to fill the following schedule: Thursday EVE shift: 2-10 p.m.
Friday EVE shift:
2-10 p.m.
Saturday EVE shift:
2-10 p.m.
Sunday DAY shift:
6 a.m.-2 p.m. Duties Administer medications to residents according to prescribed schedules and protocols Monitor and document vital signs, reporting any changes or concerns to nursing staff Assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety Provide support in dementia care, employing techniques that promote engagement and well-being Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient care activities Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans Ensure compliance with all health regulations and safety standards within the facility Skills Strong knowledge of medication administration procedures and protocols Experience in assisted living or acute care settings is preferred Familiarity with electronic health record systems, such as Cerner, is a plus Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities, demonstrating patience and empathy Proficient in taking vital signs and recognizing changes in patient conditions Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members Commitment to providing high-quality patient care while maintaining confidentiality Join our team as a Certified Medication Aide where you can make a meaningful impact on the lives of those you serve.
