Our warm and welcoming Personal Care Home is looking for a Medication Technician (Med Tech) to join our care team! As a Med Tech, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive the highest quality care. You'll be responsible for safely assisting with daily living activities, medications and supporting residents with kindness and respect.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide residents with medication administration and treatment assistance according to health care provider's orders Educate and supervise resident who self-administer medication such as subcutaneous and oral. Maintain awareness of medication interactions and side effects Monitor health, safety, and well
  • being of the residents.
Report any changes in resident's physical condition and/or behavior to Administrator. Maintain resident records regarding medication distributions, leisure activities, incidents, and observations. Properly store medication and equipment and keeps the medication room clean and orderly. Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing and eating. Encourage and/or remind residents to participate in activities. Promote activities to enthusiastically to pique residents' interest. Assist in keeping the environment safe for residents. Respond to resident emergencies; provide first aid assistance Assist with finding staff for call offs and assisting with scheduling as needed. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor. Minimum Job Qualifications and requirements High School Diploma / GED Complete state certification for medication administration 1 year experience preferred Meet state related requirements. Must meet CTKM pre-hire requirements Ability to work in a team setting and be a team player. Maintain a positive, respectful, and professional approach with coworkers and residents. Possess excellent customer and organizational skills. Must be available to work every other Weekend.
