Job Description

Pharmacy Technician - Medication Assistance Specialist - Hybrid Position! Overview At St. Luke's, our Pharmacy Technicians play a vital role in delivering outstanding, patient-focused care. St. Luke's Health System in Boise is seeking an Infusion/Clinic Administered Medication Assistance Specialist. These roles help patients access and afford essential medications by securing financial assistance and navigating eligibility requirements. You'll collaborate with providers, manufacture programs, and internal teams to remove barriers to medication access. Based on-site, with the option to Work remotely 1-2 days per week (after the initial 6-month training period). This position focuses on reducing patients' Infusion and Clinic Administered Medication costs by identifying and obtaining support through manufacturer copay programs and charitable foundations. Our Infusion/CAM Medication Assistance Specialist responsibilities include:
  • Support providers by navigating assistance processes for clinic‑administered and infusion medications to ensure timely access to treatment.
  • Identify and coordinate enrollment in assistance programs and serve as a key liaison among patients, providers, rev cycle and manufacturers.
  • Process copay claims and collaborates with cash team to ensure funds applied accurately.
  • Key skills preferred: Epic experience, EOB (Explanation of Benefits) knowledge, Microsoft Office with Excel and Microsoft Teams What to expect:

M-F, no weekends, no holidays!
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Idaho Pharmacy Technician Registration
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) Why St.
