PART TIME/FULL TIME - ALL SHIFTS

- We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medication Technician to join our healthcare team. This role involves administering medications and providing essential care to residents in assisted living and memory care setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient safety and well-being. Prior experience in senior care, hospice, dementia care, or working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable. Duties Administer prescribed medications accurately following physician orders and facility protocols Monitor and record vital signs, medication effects, and patient responses using EMR/EHR system. (PCC) Assist residents with activities of daily living, including mobility and hygiene. Maintain detailed and compliant medical documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Observe and report any changes in residents' health status or behavior to nursing staff or supervisors. Support patients with Alzheimer's, dementia, memory care needs, or other cognitive impairments through compassionate caregiving Ensure medication storage complies with safety standards and legal requirements Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean environment for residents' safety Skills Proven experience in assisted living or memory care setting. Knowledge of medication administration techniques. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as PCC. Ability to work effectively with seniors or those requiring hospice or dementia care Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations concerning patient privacy and medical records management Excellent communication skills for interacting with residents, families, and healthcare teams Compassionate caregiving attitude with patience and empathy for seniors. Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and adhere to safety standards at all times This position is integral to providing high-quality patient-centered care in a respectful and professional environment.
