We will serve with dedication, pride, humility, and integrity. Minimum Requirements Course prerequisite requirements 1. Be at least 18 years of age 2. Have completed the twelfth grade or its equivalent, or have successfully passed the test for and received a general equivalency diploma 3. Be a certified nurse aide (CNA) in a nursing home or assisted care living facility for a minimum of one year at the time of application. 4. Be able to pass a background check and a drug screen 5. Has worked as a CNA in a nursing home, assisted care living facility, or a P.A.C.E. for at least 365 days of continuous, uninterrupted, full-time work at no more than two (2) different facilities, at the time the applicant submits an application.
