As a CMA Certified Medication Aide, you will be responsible for assisting with the supervision of medication administration, vital signs, and resident care under the guidance of the licensed nursing staff. Your main focus will be on ensuring the highest level of quality care and patient satisfaction, while adapting to the unique needs of each resident.
Responsibilities:
Assist with medication administration, as directed by the licensed nursing staff Monitor and report changes in resident condition, including vital signs Provide resident care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Maintain accurate and thorough records of resident care and services Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans Collaborate with licensed nursing staff to ensure continuity of care Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service, resident advocacy, and teamwork
Requirements:
Current certification as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) in the State of Texas High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 0 years of experience in a long-term care setting (we'll train you to be your best!) Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks Strong communication and interpersonal skills Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) a plus Why join our team?
