Medication Aide (CMA)

Farmersville Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable Certified Medication Aide (CMA) for our 6am-2pm shift. Our 74-bed facility focuses on organized floor workflows, ensuring that medication carts are fully stocked and shifts run smoothly. You will work alongside a stable floor team to deliver accurate medication administration and resident care.

Pay, Schedule & Benefits Pay Rate:

Starting at $19/hour, with higher rates based on experience.

6am-2pm shift.

Responsibilities Administer medications and topical treatments accurately according to physician orders and facility protocols. Monitor resident vital signs and report any adverse reactions or changes in clinical status to the charge nurse. Maintain accurate, real-time documentation in electronic medication administration records (eMAR). Assist Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) with direct resident care and activities of daily living as needed. Ensure medication carts are clean, orderly, and fully stocked for the incoming shift. Atmosphere & Environment Farmersville Health and Rehabilitation provides care in a smaller, 74-bed environment located at 205 Beech St. The facility layout is designed to minimize long transit times between rooms, allowing clinical staff to focus on resident interaction and timely care delivery. Our team relies on clear communication to maintain standard operating procedures during the morning medication pass. Qualifications Current certification as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) in the state of Texas. Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing. Ability to pass a criminal background check. Ability to pass a drug screening. Must have reliable transportation for dependable attendance.
