  • Part-time, Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Aide to join our healthcare team.
In this vital role, you will assist in providing high-quality medication administration and personal care to residents in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care settings. Your expertise will ensure residents receive safe, timely medications while supporting their overall well-being. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with diverse healthcare needs, including those with dementia, Alzheimer's, or disabilities. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a respectful and supportive environment.
Responsibilities Needed Shifts:
6am
  • 2pm•M-F 2pm•10pm•M-F Double Weekends •Background Checks, Drug Test, TB Test Required•Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely to residents following established protocols and medical documentation standards Monitor residents' vital signs and observe for any adverse reactions or changes in condition, reporting findings promptly to nursing staff Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support, especially for individuals with memory or mobility impairments Maintain detailed medical records and documentation using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner Support residents with specialized care needs including tube feeding, catheter care, and hospice or palliative care as directed by healthcare providers Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality at all times Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care tailored to each resident's needs Skills Proven experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and medication administration procedures Familiarity with medical documentation practices and electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner Experience caring for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, memory care needs, or disabilities Ability to work effectively in fast-paced settings including acute care environments and hospice or palliative care situations Excellent caregiving skills with a compassionate approach toward seniors and individuals requiring specialized support Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and best practices for maintaining patient confidentiality Join our team to provide compassionate, expert medication management and personal care that enhances the quality of life for those we serve.
