Avir at Hearne is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Aide to join our team at our Hearne, TX location. As a Certified Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in providing direct care to our residents, ensuring their safety and well-being in our long-term care community. Responsibilities:
Assist with the administration of medications to residents, under the supervision of a licensed nurse Monitor and report changes in resident condition, vital signs, and medication reactions Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as eating, mobility, and hygiene Document resident care and medication administration in accordance with company policies Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting a positive and dignified living environment
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required Certification as a Medication Aide (CMA) in the state of Texas Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks Basic life support (BLS) training certified or willingness to obtain within 4 months of hire
