Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Medication Aide, working Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate medication administration and resident care within a vibrant healthcare facility. Your expertise will ensure residents receive safe, timely medications while supporting their overall well-being and comfort. Duties Administer prescribed medications accurately following state healthcare regulations and facility protocols Monitor residents' vital signs, symptoms, and overall health status to detect changes requiring attention Assist with personal care activities such as bathing, grooming, mobility support, and hygiene assistance EpMaintain detailed medical records and documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Point Click Care. Support residents with memory care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care, ensuring safety and comfort Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and healthcare team members to coordinate care plans Follow infection control procedures, including proper manual handling techniques and maintaining resident confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA Qualifications Valid certification as a Medication Aide Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and senior care best practices Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia is highly desirable Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Point Click Care for accurate medical documentation Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely when assisting residents with mobility or transfers Current CPR and First Aid certification; additional certifications in hospice or Alzheimer's care are a plus Join us to make a positive impact every day by providing exceptional medication management and compassionate resident support. Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
