Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medication Technician to join our team. In this vital role, you will assist in administering medications, monitoring patient health, and supporting overall care for residents in assisted living settings. Your expertise will help ensure safe, accurate medication management and contribute to the well-being of individuals with diverse needs, including those with memory impairments or disabilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents while working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Duties Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely according to physician orders and facility protocols Observe and document patient responses to medications, vital signs, and overall health status Monitor for adverse reactions or side effects and promptly report findings to supervisors Maintain detailed medical records, medication logs, and documentation of all patient interactions Requirements Bilingual Prior experience not required, training is conducted on site Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and medication administration procedures Familiarity with medical documentation standards Experience with medical equipment such as vital signs monitors Ability to work effectively with individuals who have developmental disabilities, dementia (including Alzheimer's), or require memory care support Strong communication skills to coordinate with healthcare teams and provide compassionate resident care Join us to be part of a caring team committed to enhancing the quality of life for our residents through expert medication management and compassionate support. Pay:
$13.00 - $14.00 per hour
