Certified Medication Aide (CMA) HomeSteady Assisted Living 1103 Spring Meadow Dr, Spring Texas 77373 On-Site | Assisted Living / Long-Term Care PRN Opportunities Available | All Shifts Support Safe Care. Protect Dignity. Make Every Shift Count. HomeSteady Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medication Aide (CMA) . We are currently hiring for PRN positions across multiple shifts , offering flexibility while maintaining consistent, high-quality medication administration and resident support. As a CMA, you play a critical role in ensuring medications are administered safely and accurately while promoting comfort, dignity, and quality of life for our residents. Key ResponsibilitiesMedication Administration & Documentation Administer and document oral, ophthalmic, otic, topical, and suppository medications per provider orders and facility policy Maintain secure control of medication and treatment carts Complete, accurate, and timely EMR documentation Treatment & Clinical Support Perform approved basic skin treatments as ordered Monitor and report changes in resident condition or medication side effects Communicate concerns promptly to licensed nurses Resident Care & Support Promote resident safety, dignity, and independence Safety & Team Collaboration Follow infection prevention and safety protocols Protect resident privacy and rights Work closely with licensed nurses and interdisciplinary team members Qualifications Current Texas Medication Aide (CMA) permit in good standing (required) Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred Basic computer/EMR proficiency Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to meet local health requirements and pass required screenings
