In this vital role, you will provide hands on assistance with daily living activities, administer medications accurately, and support overall patient well being within a dynamic healthcare environment. Responsibilities Assist residents or patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Administer prescribed medications following strict protocols, ensuring accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems while maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration and report any abnormalities promptly to nursing staff. Document all patient interactions thoroughly using EMR/EHR systems; ensure medical records are accurate and up-to-date. Qualifications Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Medication Technician with current state licensure. Proven experience working with geriatric patients in settings such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or long-term care environments. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like ECP; experience managing medical documentation efficiently. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS) including CPR certification. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow infection control protocols diligently.
