As a Medication Aide/Med Tech, you ensure residents receive medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity.
What You'll Do:
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
- Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time
- Observe residents during and after medication passes
- Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief
- Report refusals or concerns promptly
- Complete narcotic counts per policy
- Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms
- Follow infection control and safety standards You play a critical role in preventing medication errors, identifying health changes early, and protecting resident safety through attention to detail and regulatory compliance.
What We're Looking For:
- High School Diploma/GED; age 18+
- Medication Administration certification
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Strong documentation and communication skills
