  • Job Summary:
  • We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Medication Aide to join our Assisted Living Facility.
As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing essential care and support to patients in need. The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings, including home community care and acute care, with a strong understanding of medical terminology and documentation.
  • Duties:
  • Administer tube feeding and medication following prescribed protocols
  • Provide personalized care to individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Assist in memory care and dementia care for patients
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and records
  • Collaborate with nurses and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Support individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) and offer compassionate assistance
  • Engage in caregiving activities to address the specific needs of patients
  • Experience:
  • Prior experience in home community care, acute care, or related healthcare settings
  • Proficiency in tube feeding, medical terminology, and medical documentation
  • Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities and memory care patients
