Lakeside Villa Assisted Living is seeking compassionate, dependable, and certified Medical Technicians (Med Techs) to join our team. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about caring for seniors and committed to providing exceptional resident care in a supportive assisted living environment. Job Summary As a Med Tech at Lakeside Villa, you will be responsible for safely administering medications, monitoring residents' well-being, and assisting with daily care needs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and a strong dedication to resident safety and quality of life. Essential Responsibilities Administer medications according to physician orders and facility policies. Accurately document medication administration and resident care. Observe residents for changes in condition and report concerns promptly. Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs). Provide compassionate care and emotional support. Support residents with memory care and dementia-related needs. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Collaborate with caregivers, nursing staff, and healthcare professionals to ensure quality care. Follow all state regulations and medication administration standards. Qualifications Required Med Tech Certication (MANDATORY) Experience as a Medication Aide, Med Tech, CNA, Caregiver, or similar healthcare role. Strong communication and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and professional demeanor. Preferred Experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, Long-Term Care, or Home Care. Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare documentation. Experience caring for residents with dementia or developmental disabilities.
