  • School Aides/Instructional Aides
  • to support students in a Special Education (SPED) setting. If you are passionate about working with children and making a difference in the classroom, we would love to hear from you!
  • Position Overview
  • The School Aide works under the supervision of the Special Education Department, classroom teacher, and/or designated supervisor to provide instructional, behavioral, and personal care support to students.

This position may also assist students with physical mobility, toileting, therapeutic care needs, and daily living activities as directed by school staff, nursing personnel, or healthcare professionals.

  • Up to 6 hours per day (30 hours per week) +

  • 9 Months +
  • Pay Rate:
  • $20.00/hour
  • Responsibilities
  • + Provide classroom support to students with special needs + Assist with behavior management and instructional activities + Support students with toileting, changing, lifting, and mobility needs + Follow care plans and guidance provided by nursing and health office staff + Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment + Perform additional duties as assigned by school administration
  • Minimum Requirements
  • + High School Diploma or equivalent + Must be at least 18 years old + Ability to comply with all professional standards of practice + Current CPR certification (if applicable) + TB Questionnaire, PPD, or Chest X-Ray (if applicable) + Current Health Certificate (if required by state or contract regulations) + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
