In-person (in the client's home and community settings) in and around Moreno Valley Job Summary No prior ABA experience required — paid training is provided. If you enjoy working with children and want meaningful work where you're supported and trained, Operant Services is hiring Behavior Interventionists (BI) to work one-on-one with children in their homes and community settings. This role is sometimes referred to as a Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Training toward RBT certification is provided. Behavior Interventionists help children build communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors. Sessions follow individualized behavior plans and are supervised by experienced clinicians. This role offers hands-on experience working directly with children and families and can be a great fit for individuals interested in careers in psychology, education, behavioral health, or child development. Typical working hours fall between:

Monday

• Friday | 2:30 PM
• 7:30 PM Most Behavior Interventionists begin with 8-15 hours per week , with opportunities for additional hours as new clients become available. After consistently working more than 30 hours per week, employees are eligible for benefits
• including medical.

Many of our Behavior Interventionists work these hours alongside school, college, or other part-time jobs. Training and Support No prior ABA experience is required for the right candidate.

New Behavior Interventionists receive:

Up to 40 hours of paid training Ongoing supervision from experienced clinical staff Hands-on coaching during early sessions Our goal is to help new team members feel confident, supported, and prepared when working with families. Responsibilities Work one-on-one with children in home or community settings Help children practice communication, social, and daily living skills Support children in reducing challenging behaviors Follow behavior plans created by clinical supervisors Collect basic session data and communicate with supervisors This Role Is a Good Fit For People Who Enjoy working with children Are dependable and show up consistently Are patient and calm in challenging situations Communicate well with families and supervisors Want meaningful work that makes a difference Requirements High school diploma required Some college coursework preferred Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is helpful but not required Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally Valid driver's license Must be available for weekday afternoon sessions RBT training is a huge plus, but not required Applicants will be required to complete a Department of Justice (DOJ) Live Scan background check prior to employment. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply.
