Our care is trauma informed and person centered. Many of our former youth say that Milestone House is the first place where they felt at home and safe. That realization is due to our well trained and compassionate staff who provide milieu therapy, structure, and even fun for our kids. Our program offers an onsite mental health staff to assist staff and help our kids. At Milestone House, we are a team, and as part of our team you are a valued and important team member. Milestone House is seeking a Mental Health worker to provide milieu therapy during am and/or pm shifts. Duties include always providing care and supervision to clients, making sure the house schedule is followed, completing various charting duties, setting limits for client behavior, transporting clients in house vehicles to outings and appointments, protecting client confidentiality, and being a positive role model. We are looking for individuals who can work the following shifts: Saturday 7 am to 3 pm and Sunday, Monday and Tuesday 2pm to 10 pm. Candidates must be amenable to cover open shifts as needed. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a bachelor's degree by regulation. Candidates without bachelor's degree cannot be considered. Candidates must have a valid CA driver's license and clean driving record. As a pre-condition of employment must pass a criminal background check, TB test, and drug screening.
