Job Description

The Behavior Technician supports students with special needs by providing behavioral, academic, and social-emotional support in a school setting. Working closely with teachers, school staff, and behavioral specialists, they help students achieve individualized learning and behavioral goals. Responsibilities may include implementing behavior plans, providing one-on-one or small group support, reinforcing positive behaviors, collecting data, and helping create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment.
  • Minimum Requirements:
  • + High School diploma or equivalent required + Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred + Current CPR if applicable + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements + Must be at least 18 years of age
