Weekly If you're motivated by helping students overcome challenges and build meaningful skills, this role places you at the heart of that impact. As a Behavioral Classroom Aide , you'll partner with special education teams to support students who benefit from behavioral, instructional, and personal-care assistance. Your work helps create a safe, structured, and encouraging environment where every student has the opportunity to grow. What You'll Do Support behavior-focused learning by implementing teacher-designed activities, reinforcement systems, visual supports, small-group instruction, and structured routines. Observe and communicate key behavioral and academic information to teachers and support staff. Engage with students throughout the school day, including recess, lunch, transitions, and community-based learning activities. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all student information and classroom operations. Carry out behavior intervention strategies under the direction of teachers, BCBAs, psychologists, and other specialists. Assist with therapeutic programs developed by PT, OT, SLP, or behavioral professionals. Promote student independence through self-care routines such as toileting, hygiene, dressing, and feeding when needed. Support classroom operations by preparing materials, organizing supplies, creating stimuli, making copies, and assisting with basic clerical tasks.
