In this vital role, you will ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of individuals with diverse needs, including those with cognitive disabilities, memory impairments, or requiring specialized care such as Alzheimer's or dementia. Your energetic approach and keen observation skills will help create a secure environment where patients feel cared for and respected. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve while working alongside a dedicated healthcare team. Responsibilities Monitor patients closely to prevent falls, injuries, or behavioral incidents, ensuring their safety at all times Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including grooming, hygiene, mobility support, and meal assistance Support patients with cognitive disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders through engaging activities and behavior management strategies Follow care plans meticulously, including adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with light cleaning duties and ensuring infection control protocols are followed Qualifications Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, memory care, dementia care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health conditions Certification in First Aid, Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR, or similar emergency response training is required Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform manual handling tasks as needed Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams and support residents' needs Valid driver's license or identification card Join us in providing exceptional care that enhances the quality of life for every individual.
