Job Summary Job Summary Petaluma City Schools is seeking an Associate Mental Health Specialist to support the well-being and success of our students and families. This position provides individual, group, and family counseling, crisis intervention, assessments, and referrals to community resources. Working collaboratively with students, families, staff, and community partners, this role helps connect students with the support and services they need to thrive. This position will support both Valley Vista Public Waldorf and McDowell Elementary School. View Job Description Requirements / Qualifications See vacancy notice and job description. Employees must be certified through the Certified Wellness Coach Employer Support Grant funded by the state of California. M.A. or M.S. in clinical psychology or counseling is required.

For Marriage and Family Therapist Associates (AMFT), Associate Professional Clinical Counselors (APCC), and Associate Clinical Social Workers (ASW), weekly supervision by a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Supervisor will be provided and Board of Behavioral Sciences hours will be signed. It is required that applications be accompanied by the following documents A cover letter specific to your qualifications for the position Resume transcript credential (if any) Before submitting your application, please be sure that all documents are included.
