Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions - Democrats Washington, District of Columbia Ranking Member Bernie Sanders of the U.S. Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee is seeking a committee staff assistant to handle administrative matters and provide cross-cutting support to the committee's health policy work. Primary responsibilities include providing administrative support to professional staff, managing interns, tracking correspondence, conducting research, assisting staff with preparing briefing materials, and assisting with other committee business including hearing and event preparation. Successful applicants will be highly detail-oriented, able to manage time effectively, work well under pressure, adapt to changing circumstances, handle confidential information, and possess excellent proofreading and Microsoft Office skills. Previous professional experience strongly preferred and interest in health policy is required. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
