Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated team as a Residential Aide, where you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with diverse needs within a residential setting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference by providing compassionate care, ensuring safety, and fostering a supportive environment for residents. As a Residential Aide, you will be instrumental in promoting stability, encouraging positive behaviors, and assisting residents in achieving their personal goals. Your energy, empathy, and proactive approach will help create a welcoming community where everyone feels valued and respected. Responsibilities Provide direct support and supervision to residents, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration in accordance with care plans Implement behavioral management strategies and conflict de-escalation techniques to maintain a calm and secure environment Conduct intake assessments and document resident progress through accurate data entry, filing, and record keeping Support residents experiencing mental health conditions or substance use disorders by applying crisis intervention skills and behavioral health best practices Maintain resident confidentiality while fostering open communication with individuals and their families Collaborate with case management teams to develop personalized care plans that address high-risk populations and underserved communities Ensure compliance with safety protocols including manual handling, first aid, CPR certification, and security procedures Engage with culturally diverse communities to promote inclusivity and respect within the residential setting Support residents during high-stress situations using de-escalation techniques and effective communication skills Qualifications Proven supervising experience in residential or community-based settings Strong background in childcare, social work, behavioral health or related fields Knowledge of addiction counseling, crisis intervention, conflict management, and de-escalation techniques Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness or from underserved communities Familiarity with working with youth and families in supportive environments Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and data collection purposes Valid certifications including first aid, CPR, medication administration training, and manual handling as required by state law Excellent communication skills paired with strong writing abilities for accurate reporting Ability to work effectively with high-risk populations while maintaining resident confidentiality Experience working with individuals with mental health conditions or substance use disorders is highly preferred Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to empowering residents through compassionate care and dedicated support. Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
