Assistant Nurse Manager - Behavioral Health

BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking an experienced Assistant Nurse Manager to join our outstanding and compassionate team at our Behavioral Health Integrated Stabilization Unit in New Port Richey, FL ! The Integrated Stabilization Unit serves individuals 18 years of age and older who present with a serious and acute mental illness or substance use impairment, or with co-occurring mental illness and substance use disorders. The innovative approach integrates the services lines of crisis stabilization and detoxification services within the same facility, but tailors the treatment to each individual based on their particular needs. Once the individual's acute care needs are met, the individual is then transitioned to the next clinically appropriate level of care.

Yes The Assistant Nurse Manager:

Is proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective management skills. Is responsible for supporting the Nurse Manager in a supervisory capacity while managing team member and patient care issues, ongoing team member performance appraisal and the hiring , counseling and terminating process. Acts as a role model for other team members and the communication of organizational information. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Certifications and Licensures:

Nursing Experience:
