Direct Care Support Overnights Redemption Home 1Inc Orlando, FL Job Details Part-time | Full-time $17.50 - $22.00 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications High-risk population support Adolescent development Autism spectrum disorders support Group home experience Full Job Description Overview We are seeking dedicated, compassionate, and motivated Direct Care Professionals to work with at-risk teen boys (ages 12-17) in a structured residential setting. Staff will provide supervision, mentorship, and daily living support while promoting positive behavior, accountability, and life skills development. Direct Care Professionals play a critical role in creating a safe, stable, and supportive environment where youth can grow and succeed. Responsibilities Provide direct supervision and ensure the safety of youth at all times Implement behavior management strategies and follow individualized service plans Mentor and build positive relationships with youth Assist with daily routines (meals, hygiene, chores, school readiness) Transport youth to school, appointments, and activities Monitor and document behaviors, incidents, and progress De-escalate conflicts and intervene during crisis situations Maintain structure, rules, and expectations within the home Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with staff and leadership Direct care roles often include teaching life skills, supporting daily routines, and encouraging independence in youth, which are core responsibilities in this field Qualifications Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or behavioral health needs preferred Knowledge of special education principles and behavior management techniques Strong communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with diverse populations Valid driver's license and clean driving record for transportation duties Familiarity with medication administration protocols and data collection methods Home & community care
