Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our team as a Behavioral Therapist. In this vital role, you will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including those with autism, to promote positive behaviors and support their overall well-being. Your expertise in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavioral health will help create personalized care plans that foster growth and independence. Duties Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), to support clients' developmental and behavioral goals Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, and hygiene, promoting independence and self-care skills Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Develop, review, and update individualized care plans based on client needs and progress reports Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistency in behavioral interventions Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality Use medical terminology appropriately when documenting medical records or communicating with healthcare providers Skills Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder Ability to assist clients with ADLs in a respectful and encouraging manner Proficiency in data collection methods for behavioral health assessments Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, team members, and educational staff Familiarity with medical documentation standards, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance Compassionate approach to patient care combined with effective behavior management strategies Join us in creating a positive impact by empowering individuals through tailored behavioral interventions. Pay:
$24.00 - $28.00 per hour
