In this vital role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions, support patient assessments, and assist with diagnostic evaluations to promote positive growth and development. Your passion for working with individuals with autism and other disabilities will help foster a supportive environment where clients can thrive. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and special education within a compassionate and dynamic team. Duties Implement individualized behavioral intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to support clients' developmental goals Collect, record, and analyze data related to client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Assist with patient assessments, intake procedures, and diagnostic evaluations to determine client needs and develop tailored care strategies Support patients during therapy sessions, ensuring their safety and engagement while applying therapeutic techniques Maintain accurate medical documentation, records, and reports in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology standards Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including clinicians, educators, and families to coordinate care plans and ensure consistency in behavioral support strategies Participate in ongoing training related to behavioral health, special education, and working with individuals with autism or disabilities Qualifications Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance Experience in data collection, patient care, patient assessment, and conducting diagnostic evaluations is advantageous Excellent communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and team members Ability to follow detailed treatment plans and implement therapeutic strategies consistently Compassionate attitude combined with patience when working with diverse populations including those with autism or other disabilities Relevant certifications or coursework in special education or behavioral health are a plus Join us in empowering individuals through compassionate support and evidence-based practices!
