Community Schools of Frankfort We are seeking a dedicated and student-centered Special Education Paraprofessional to support learners at the elementary level. In this role, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assistance to students with diverse needs. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) supporting small group and individual instruction, implementing accommodations and interventions, and helping create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Preferred candidates demonstrate strong skills in behavior management, including the ability to remain calm, consistent, and proactive when supporting students with big emotions. A "firm but flexible" approach is essential, setting clear expectations while also responding with empathy and adaptability to meet individual student needs. Ideal applicants are collaborative team players who are patient, organized, and committed to helping every child succeed and who can operate independently and with initiative when needed.
