Johnson County's Mental Health Department is recruiting for a part-time Administrative Assistant to support the Prevention and Community Relations Division and serve as a liaison providing administrative support to Friends of JCMHC.
Job Description Job Duties Include:
  • Maintains spreadsheets and databases to organize division information and produce routine reports.
  • Manages files, calendars, scheduling, and prepares general correspondence.
  • Supports financial processes, including grants, contracts, and division activity tracking.
  • Performs core clerical functions such as copying, distributing mail, and preparing meeting materials.
  • Oversees supply management, including ordering, receiving, invoices, and expenditure tracking.
  • Provides front line administrative support by answering calls, sharing standard information, and coordinating schedules.
  • Assists with planning and coordinating events, trainings, meetings, and other PCR Division and Friends of JCMHC functions.
Job Requirements Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent and one year of administrative support experience are required. Require KS/MO driver's license, with acceptable driving record Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred. Experience may be substituted for education. Education may be substituted for experience. Johnson County Government requires reference/background screening for all positions. Specified criteria may vary by Department/Agency.
Physical, Environmental, and Special Working Conditions:
All County employees may be called upon to assist other departments in a declared emergency situation.
