Job Description

Mountain Comprehensive Care Center is hiring for a Mental Health Associate to serve the Marshall County School District.
PURPOSE:
To provide therapeutic interventions, referral and assessment services to clients/children in a school based setting.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). Will consider LPCA, CSW, or Bachelor degree in a Human Service field.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a mental health discipline (i.
e:
psychology, social work, counseling) from an accredited college/university and experience working with the targeted population. Minimum of Bachelor degree in Human Services field required.
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
One year experience with appropriate evidence-based practices preferred. Good verbal and written skills; creativity; patience and flexibility. Must pass a background check and have a valid KY driver's license.

RESPONSIBILITIES
: Provide direct patient care and support to students with behavioral health needs. Conduct intake assessments and maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Implement applied behavior analysis techniques and crisis intervention strategies as needed. Collaborate with educators and parents to develop individualized support plans for children with developmental disabilities or special education needs. Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly. Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all interactions.
