Job Description

Part-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) - Behavioral & Integrated Primary Care Bluegrass Behavioral Services for Children (BBSC) Lexington, Kentucky Bluegrass Behavioral Services for Children is seeking a compassionate, collaborative Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing multidisciplinary team on a part-time/per diem basis . This position offers flexibility with the opportunity to grow into a larger role as our medical services expand. We are looking for a provider who enjoys working with both pediatric and adult patients and has a genuine passion for behavioral health, whole-person care, and improving the lives of children and families. About the Role The provider will work alongside behavioral health clinicians, nurses, targeted case managers, and other professionals to provide integrated medical care for patients with behavioral health and developmental needs.
Responsibilities may include:
Medical evaluations and follow-up visits for children, adolescents, and adults Medication management for behavioral health conditions (within scope and experience) Management of common acute and chronic medical conditions Collaboration with therapists, case managers, nurses, schools, and community partners Participation in an innovative integrated care model focused on improving outcomes for children and families Contributing to the development of population health and care management initiatives Qualifications Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant eligible to practice in Kentucky Experience caring for pediatric patients is strongly preferred Comfortable treating both children and adults Interest or experience in behavioral health, ADHD, anxiety, depression, autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, or integrated care is highly desirable Excellent communication and collaboration skills Passion for family-centered, trauma-informed care What We Offer Flexible part-time/per diem scheduling Competitive compensation Supportive multidisciplinary team Opportunity to help shape an innovative integrated behavioral health program Meaningful work with children and families Potential for professional growth as medical services expand If you're looking for an opportunity to practice medicine in a collaborative environment where you can make a lasting impact on the lives of children and families, we'd love to hear from you.
