Moran, Assistant Superintendent of Human ResourcesSUBJECT:
Support Staff for Unified Basketball (2 Positions)
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and coachesExperience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, or other special needs is preferredStrong communication skills and a positive, supportive attitudePrevious experience in athletics or school support roles preferred
Responsibilities:
Provide on-site support during Unified Basketball games, both home and awayAssist with the coordination of athletes, ensuring they are prepared and supported throughout the meetAssist with setup, logistics, and tear-down of eventsHelp maintain a safe and supportive environment for athletes, coaches, and volunteersCollaborate with the Unified Track team coaches and staff to ensure smooth operations of all eventsProvide social emotional and physical support to athletes during practice and competition, promoting inclusivity and teamworkReports to:
Brockton High School Special Education Coordinator and Athletic DirectorWork Hours:
Varied based on practice and meet schedule, including afternoons and evenings
Compensation:
Compensation will be paid for through the Special Education Department
