As a Classroom Counselor at our May Center School in Randolph or Mansfield, you'll be an essential part of our mission to support students ages 3-21 with Autism and Developmental and Cognitive Disabilities in achieving their goals and aspirations. You'll work directly in the classroom and in our residential settings using the proven methods of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA). You'll be providing compassionate care, facilitating personalized instruction and assistance, and engaging in life and academic skill-building activities. Your Impact Implement daily classroom schedules and individualized programs under supervision. Provide instruction in academics, communication, self-care, and social skills. Collect and track data on student progress to support behavior programs. Use evidence-based behavior support strategies to manage challenging behaviors. Partner with teachers, clinical staff, and families to support individualized treatment plans. Assist students with personal care and hygiene as needed. What You Bring Bachelor's degree required - strongly preferred if in Psychology, Behavior Analysis, or a related field. Valid U.S. driver's license with at least 1 year of driving experience. Ability to work primarily in a classroom/school setting, with crossover to working in a residential setting. Empathy, patience, compassion, and the ability to support children with diverse communication and behavioral needs. Experience with children or individuals with special needs and developmental disabilities required. Why Join Us?
