Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly qualified Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, providing essential behavioral interventions and assessments that promote meaningful progress. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in applied behavior analysis (ABA), excellent patient care skills, and a passion for improving the lives of clients through evidence-based practices. Responsibilities Assist in conducting comprehensive behavioral developmental assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs and develop tailored intervention plans. Implement ABA therapy protocols under the supervision of licensed behavior analysts, ensuring adherence to established treatment guidelines. Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor client progress and inform treatment adjustments. Support patient care by engaging with children and individuals with disabilities in therapeutic activities designed to improve communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and legal standards are met. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including special education professionals, healthcare providers, and families, to support holistic client development. Participate in clinical supervision sessions for ongoing professional development, skill enhancement, and compliance with certification requirements. Communicate clearly with clients' families regarding behavioral strategies, progress updates, and intervention plans to foster consistency across environments. Qualifications Current certification as a Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) or equivalent credential from a recognized certifying body. Demonstrated experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and neurodevelopmental disorders. Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles, behavioral interventions, and data collection methods. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards related to behavioral health services. Experience conducting behavioral assessments such as functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and behavioral developmental assessments. Ability to implement ABA therapy protocols effectively while maintaining patient safety and comfort. Excellent client communication skills with an empathetic approach tailored to diverse populations. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of medical records and sensitive information.
