Duties Provide peer support advocacy by sharing personal recovery experiences to inspire hope and resilience. Conduct crisis management and crisis intervention to de-escalate situations and ensure client safety. Support clients with behavioral health needs through motivational interviewing and harm reduction strategies. Assist individuals with co-occurring disorders by coordinating care plans and connecting them with appropriate resources. Maintain strict confidentiality of client information while documenting interactions accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized recovery plans that incorporate social work principles and addiction counseling techniques. Experience Prior experience working with individuals experiencing substance use disorders is highly preferred. Demonstrated skills in crisis management, crisis intervention, and behavioral health counseling. Knowledge of harm reduction practices, motivational interviewing, and addiction counseling methods. Experience working with culturally diverse populations and advocating for peer support initiatives. Ability to share personal recovery experiences appropriately to motivate clients while maintaining professional boundaries. Familiarity with social work practices, client communication strategies, and maintaining patient confidentiality within healthcare settings. Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and case tracking.
