Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience working with school-aged children in a professional capacity. Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of school-based paraprofessional experience. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and students. Demonstrated patience, adaptability, and empathy when working with children across diverse backgrounds and abilities.
Responsibilities:
Support teachers with classroom instruction, activities, and student engagement for K-12 students. Assist with implementing learning accommodations and behavioral interventions as needed. Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment that encourages student growth. Provide one-on-one or small group support, adapting resources and instruction to individual needs. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions. Track student progress and participate in educational planning as required.
