Your role will help foster a safe and supportive atmosphere. You would also be responsible for setting up cots in the sleeping area and breaking them down. Maintain a safe environment and assist other shelter staff when needed. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our vulnerable population by being compassionate yet following all safety protocols. Duties Monitor shelter areas continuously to ensure safety and security for residents and staff Assist with checking bags during check-in Set up cots/tables and break them down Check outer buildings Provide crisis intervention during emergencies or conflicts, de-escalating situations calmly and effectively
